About Alexander Burhans

 

• Entry into the jewelry and watch business at the end of the 80s
• 1989 opening of a retail store in Freiburg
• 1991 Foundation of the first own watch brand variety - The collections were characterized by a clear, simple and functional design.

 

At the end of the 1990s he received the first three awards of the "FORM 99" design award. The "L 01" model was added to the sales range in the USA under the name "Orbit" in well-known design and museum shops, such as the MOMA in New York.

In 1998 the company started its own watch production. Until 2004 the watches will be produced exclusively in Freiburg. 

In addition to opening three further retail stores, he became a partner in a Swiss watch manufacturing company in 2004.

He developed the designs of his own brand and other watch labels. Further designs and implementations were made in the jewelry, furniture and furnishings area.

For the 25th anniversary in 2016 the first redesigned model will appear under its own name "Alexander Burhans". Begins in spring 2020 Planning and setting up a new on-demand watch production facility. The sale takes place exclusively online via your own Webshop.
